NOOPYS has been in the paint removal business for over thirty years and still runs a large stripping and refinishing business.

In the early 1970's, realizing that more effective and efficient paint removers were needed to get the job done, NOOPYS began blending and making methylene chloride paint removers that "REALLY WORKED."

In the late 70's, NOOPYS had quite a few SERVISTAR hardware stores as customers. They, in turn, recommended their products to the main office in Butler, PA. The products were well received at their fall trade show.

As time moved on through the 70s and 80's, environmental concerns were addressed regarding lead paints. NOOPYS began testing and blending solvents that were either user friendly, environmentally friendly, or both.

As they were finishing up the last decade of the 20th century, government agencies, maintenance departments, school systems, HUD programs, townships, cities, municipalities, contractors, and others put together ani-graffiti networks.

Noopy's Green Line of products which are user friendly and/or environmentally friendly are being used for these projects as more and more painters, decorators and contractors need the products we produce

In addition to our Green Line of products we also make more tradtional industrial products which, of course, are compliant with current EPA standards.
